Treatment Received

• •Surface clean with variable powered museum vacuum.
• •Removal of the lining.
• •Further surface cleaning and stain removal around muzzle area.
• •Humidity chamber constructed to humidify the whole skin.
• •A hydrating solution was applied onto the skin side of the pelt to maintain flexibility.
• •The broken gums and teeth were consolidated and infilled.
• •The splits were supported, and the head reattached using different support methods and conservation adhesive mixtures.
• •New cotton lining.
• •New mechanism to enable hanging.
